Cypress has an excellent history of hiring experienced drivers.  Whether your experience consists of dry van, reefer, tanker, or flatbed, Cypress wants you to join our team! We offer an orientation program designed with every level of experience in mind.
If you have 6 months verifiable flatbed experience you will be assigned a truck after orientation and a road test.  All drivers will be evaluated for proper securement know how and will be trained accordingly.  For those who have spent most of their driving career pulling something other than a flatbed we will provide you with two to six weeks of flatbed securement training and you will be paid $100 per day with a $500 a week maximum.

Being a truck driver is only part of your duties. You must also be proficient in cargo securement and transport.  This doesn't happen by chance, it happens because we believe in providing you with the training and knowledge necessary to be safe and confident in transporting flatbed cargo.

For those of you with no flatbed experience this program is a smooth transition into your time with your driver trainer.  For drivers with previous flatbed experience it is designed to compliment your knowledge and to introduce you to the ways of Cypress Truck policies.
